Calligraphy by Mercia began in 2015, sparked by a curiosity for the beauty of hand lettering. What started with practice, patience, and countless sheets of paper slowly grew into a creative practice rooted in intention, storytelling, and thoughtful design.

Over the years, it has evolved into a bespoke studio specialising in handcrafted details for weddings, celebrations, and meaningful milestones. Each piece is carefully created to shape a visual experience that feels personal and considered — always inspired by the people and stories behind it.

At its heart, our work is about creating beautiful things with care and purpose. Every project is thoughtfully designed, with handcrafted and handwritten elements incorporated where they bring the most meaning — whether as a keepsake or part of your celebration.

Beyond bespoke projects, we also do live personalisation event to add a thoughtful, human touch to your event, inviting guests to slow down and experience something made just for them.
